The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, more commonly known as the T, is one of the oldest public transit systems in the United States. T riders take over 1.25 million trips daily.
Embattled and a good cause, the MBTA has been underfunded for years. Riders and taxpayers alike are frustrated and are running out of patience. So more than ever, it’s important that when T talks they do so with humility, empathy, and self-awareness. And occasionally a little humor.
